iRise®, the world’s leading application visualization software company, today announced the appointment of Gregg Blatt to executive vice president (EVP) of enterprise solutions. Blatt comes to iRise from Keane, Inc. where he most recently was vice president of global sales. He will report directly to President, Chief Operating Officer and Founder Maurice Martin.
As EVP of enterprise solutions, Blatt will join the company’s executive management team. He will assume responsibilities for recruiting and enabling a world-class sales force that expands iRise’s territory and market reach. This appointment signals an inflection point in iRise’s growth as the company has consistently closed larger enterprise deals, added more brand name customers quarter over quarter, and is now primed to expand sales into new vertical markets. At the same time, an increasing groundswell of demand from business analysts and usability professionals alike – from large to smaller-sized companies – is driving the need for a broader set of distribution channels. Blatt is charged with meeting those new sources of demand while continuing to understand the critical technology needs of Global 2000 CIOs.
Blatt’s role as a sales professional spans international, domestic, public and private industry experience. Most recently at Keane, a $1B+ global services firm that specializes in enabling transformation of its clients’ business and IT functions, Blatt managed a global force of more than 100 sales professionals and launched a sales effectiveness program that enabled the sales force to adapt to a significant transformation the company had made in previous years.
Prior to Keane, Blatt was with Headstrong, Inc. (aka James Martin & Co.), a global business consulting and IT solutions firm, where he was vice president of global sales and served as the executive leader for the strategic account team, global account strategies and alliance and partner program. Before Headstrong, Blatt held the role of regional director for Comdisco, Inc. which provides equipment leasing, global technology, network services and desktop management solutions. At that company, he was responsible for consulting sales revenue, acquisition integration, and staff management and recruiting.
Earlier in his career, Blatt was vice president of sales and operations for MicroSolutions, a CompuCom subsidiary, and a regional manager with the advanced solutions group for NYNEX Business Centers. In those roles, he was primarily responsible for sales, operations and systems development functions.
“iRise’s vision is that by 2020 all Fortune 1000 companies, global services providers and software companies will have adopted visualization software as a standard practice,” said Mr. Martin. “Gregg’s background in implementing the people, process and technology components of such a business transformation will be critical to achieve that vision.”
