Cayuse, Inc., a provider of grant proposal solutions for educational and research enterprises, is pleased to announce that Yeshiva University is adopting Cayuse424 as its central proposal development and management system. Yeshiva will transition from using standalone forms to Cayuse424, which allows researchers and research administrators to develop and validate federal research proposals via a Web browser. Additional improvements in productivity will result from the ability to submit error-free research proposals directly to Grants.gov.
“While the downloadable Pure Edge forms served us well in the past, we recognized that the time is right to move to a Web application and a system-to-system model for proposal development and submission,” said Charlie Hathaway, Director of the Office of Grant Support at Yeshiva’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
“Proactive research organizations are searching for ways to improve efficiency and oversight of the research proposal process,” said Chris Harker, president of Cayuse, Inc. “In a time of increased competition for research dollars, institutions need to use every advantage available. We’re pleased to have the opportunity to help Yeshiva University move to our system, which is designed to support the collaborative and exacting nature of research.”
Cayuse will deploy Cayuse424 at Yeshiva and conduct training in time for researchers to begin preparing and submitting proposals for the February 5, 2008, NIH deadline.
