WorldTV, GlobeCast’s multicultural television platform, has taken its first step over the Canadian border, with the launch of its popular international bouquet on the NeuLion iPTV platform. This comes only months after its successful roll out across Europe.
‘WorldTV Broadband’ initially launched with five leading Bosnian television and radio channels and is accessible to anyone in the country with a broadband internet connection and the NeuLion set-top box. Consumers simply subscribe to this service through a dedicated Customer Service line 1-877-777-0928 – through which they also activate their accounts.
In response to the rapid expansion of the Bosnian community in Canada, BN, BN Radio, BosTel, BosTel Radio and NTV Hayat channels have been selected to meet the growing demand for Bosnian-language content and the offering is expected to be highly popular with Bosnian subscribers.
This initial service, which is now live in Canada, is just a small sample of WorldTV’s extensive portfolio. Already the leading distributor of international TV and radio in the US, delivering over 200 channels to viewers nationwide, WorldTV will bring its expertise in serving international content and distributing niche channels across the border with the aim of growing the number of channels available in Canada in the near future.
