Infohrm to Host 2008 Workforce Planning Summit in Las Vegas: 2nd Annual Event Includes Industry Experts
Publish Date : 1/18/2008 6:05:00 AM   Source : Technology News Onlypunjab.com

Infohrm, the global leader in full-service workforce planning, reporting and analysis solutions, today announced that the 2nd annual Infohrm Workforce Planning Summit will be held at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa on May 19-20, 2008, with optional two-day workshops following on May 21-22.

Building on the success of last year's Summit, Infohrm has expanded its thought leadership agenda to cover two full days of leading-edge keynote speeches, case study presentations, panel discussions, and in-depth breakout sessions. The event will demonstrate proven methods of workforce planning and highlight how workforce planning should integrate with financial and strategic planning processes.

Thought-leaders scheduled to present include*:

  • Microsoft -- Rupert Bader, Director of Workforce Planning
  • Google -- Prasad Setty, Director of People Analytics
  • Ameriprise Financial -- Nick Nyhus, Vice President of Workforce Planning
  • Freddie Mac -- Andy Suh, Director of Operations Strategy
  • Safeco Insurance -- Jared Flynn, Manager of Workforce Planning
  • The Williams Companies -- Laura Hunter, Manager of Reporting & Analytics
  • Greater Baltimore Medical Center -- Mark Thomas, Vice President of Human Resources

"Workforce planning continues to be top of mind for senior executives across the globe," said Brian Kelly, President of Infohrm North America. "This year's Summit promises to deliver the next level of thought leadership, discussion, and practical advice that last year's event laid the foundation for. I am thrilled that so many recognized experts from some of the world's leading companies will be participating in the event."

Also featured at the Summit will be the results of Infohrm's 2008 Workforce Planning Survey and the launch of several new workforce planning tools.

"Infohrm's original research into current and future workforce planning practices greatly assists organizations seeking to benchmark their own progress," according to Jeff Higgins, Infohrm's Executive Vice President for Client Services. "Furthermore, with Infohrm's latest Workforce Planning technologies, practitioners will for the first time be able to tie workforce plans to financial outcomes and model alternative talent management scenarios."

The two-day Summit will be followed by concurrent Infohrm Academy Workforce Planning and Workforce Analytics workshops. Each two-day workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of successful frameworks and processes for improving your organization's approaches to workforce measurement. See the full schedule of 2008 workshops here.
