Publish Date : 1/23/2008 4:23:00 AM Source : Legal News Onlypunjab.com
Voxtec International, Inc. (Voxtec), developer of the world’s most trusted language translation devices, announced today that it has launched a completely redesigned website at www.voxtec.com. Voxtec commissioned The Pappas Group, a multimedia design and brand identity agency in McLean, VA, to perform the website redesign.
“The new Voxtec.com offers visitors a high level of visual and informational detail on Voxtec’s products and services,” said John T. Hall, President of Voxtec. “It is designed to be a frequently-accessed resource for both current and future Voxtec customers.”
Among the key features of the new website are:
- Comprehensive Device WalkaroundsFor the first time, online visitors can view 360-degree walkarounds of Voxtec’s two language translation devices, the legendary Phraselator® P2 and streamlined SQUID™ SQ.200. The user-controlled interface allows visitors to highlight any area of the device to view specific features. Visitors can also learn about Voxtec’s Module Builder PRO™ software, which allows device users with access to a human translator to create their own custom language modules and upload them to their Phraselator or SQUID.
- Solutions for Specific MarketsFirst responders, law enforcement, construction and military personnel are in situations every day that call for reliable speech-to-speech translation capabilities. The new Voxtec website includes sections offering market-specific solutions to these users, including real-world customer examples and testimonials detailing how Voxtec has helped solve a critical translation need.
- MMS User CenterCurrent customers have access to a suite of tools to customize and enhance their Phraselator and SQUID devices through the Voxtec Module Management System™ (MMS) User Center. The access-controlled MMS User Center allows customers to search and download new language modules, access advanced training tools such as videos and user manuals, download device software updates and request a custom language module created by Voxtec.
- Complete Company and Product Information
Visitors to www.voxtec.com can access complete details on Voxtec’s products, technology, research and development efforts, company history and management team. Device and user support, including training services and videos, are also available outside the MMS User Center.
“The value of Voxtec devices has been proven in countless tactical and humanitarian military operations in the Middle East,” said Hall. “A comprehensive online resource is a must-have as we continue to introduce first responders, law enforcement, construction, military personnel and other tactical users to the value Voxtec mobile language translation devices can bring to their daily operations. I’m confident that current Voxtec customers and those intrigued by our technology will find it a valuable, easy-to-use tool they will frequently access.”
