The applications leverage advanced barcode scanning and wireless data transmission throughout the materials management cycle, helping enhance receiving, delivery and inventory processes. By helping to automate and standardize these processes, the applications help ensure faster and more accurate supply tracking and replenishment.

Torrance Memorial Medical Center, an existing Lawson customer, licensed both Par & Cycle Counting and Receiving & Delivery. The medical center will use the applications to help improve overall supply management by more efficiently managing its par locations and improving package processing. These process enhancements, in turn, will help the hospital increase its supply chain efficiencies, reduce supply costs and improve staff productivity. For example, the hospital will use Par & Cycle Counting to automate the maintenance and counting of par and inventory areas so it can replenish supply levels more quickly and accurately.
