Usability Sciences Appoints Tom Cherry and Hub Bares to Executive Posts

Usability Sciences Corporation, a leading provider of customer experience solutions, appointed Tom Cherry, executive vice president of sales and Hub Bares, vice president of finance and administration. Tom Cherry has been with Usability Sciences since 2004 and was promoted from within. Hub Bares was formerly at Intec Telecom Systems where he led the Dallas financial operations and oversaw project management on mergers, acquisitions and business integration activities.
Jeff Schueler, founder and CEO of Usability Sciences, remarked, “With growth of 40% expected in 2008, we determined it was the right time to enhance the executive team.”
Tom Cherry joined Usability Sciences in 2004 heading up global sales. Tom previously served as a marketing and sales executive with IBM and several software start-up ventures. Tom earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Illinois at Champaign. Cherry noted, “Our industry-leading clients realize that their success depends on a great online customer experience. Our clients enhance the customer experience with recommendations from our lab studies, field studies and software tools. Our solutions are right for the market, and I am thrilled about our prospects to deliver rapid sales growth.”
Before joining Usability Sciences, Hub Bares served as vice president of finance and administration for Intec Telecom Systems. He held similar roles for CHR Solutions and GTE (now Verizon). Hub is Six Sigma certified, holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington and an accounting degree from California State University at Fresno. Bares commented, “It is exciting to join a company that leads the customer experience marketplace and is positioned for rapid growth. I look forward to enhancing the financial processes to accommodate our growth.”
