FraternityLive.com, the largest private Greek communication network, recently joined over 300 members of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at their Pike University 2007 Academy in Memphis, Tennessee. In preparation for the coming school year, attendees were given a preview of FraternityLive's features designed to organize and strengthen their chapters.
Pi Kappa Alpha undergraduates and Alumnae from across North America gathered for the bi-annual "Pike University" Academy, in order to prepare for the upcoming school year and address issues in chapter operations. One key issue facing Fraternities is the difficulty of maintaining communication between members, and FraternityLive was on hand to demonstrate how their private online network can simplify the process. The designer of the FraternityLive network is also a collegiate member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and fellow members were eager to preview the social and financial tools available on the network. Attendees were also intrigued by the privacy and security offered by FraternityLive, which presents a solution to the challenge of monitoring the content being distributed on Fraternity sites.
FraternityLive was met with a welcome and positive reception at this year's Pike University 2007 Academy. As the school year draws closer, the network's numbers continue to grow, and Pi Kappa Alpha already has plans to sign all new undergraduates on the FraternityLive network
