Innovative Technical Solutions, Inc. (ITSI) announced today that the company has been selected for a Full and Open contract award from the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA) for their Sustainment/Restoration and Modernization Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC) Program. This award is contracted by the Air Education and Training Command (AETC CONS/LGCK) of Randolph AFB, TX. ITSI was one of 16 companies that were awarded SATOC prime contracts. The prime contractors will share in project awards totaling $4 billion for up to 10 years.

The SATOC contracts represent the next major series of contract vehicles that the AFCESA will use to meet the long-term requirements of the Air Force, the Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal agencies. Under the SATOC, ITSI will execute Task Orders that support worldwide AFCESA requirements, for construction and engineering activities supporting the Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (S/R&M) of real property at project sites in the United States as well as in remote, austere, and hostile foreign environments.

The SATOC contract award is another major step in establishing ITSI as one of the largest firms in its class serving the Department of Defense. With compounded annual growth rate exceeding 50% for the past 10 years, ITSI is one of the nation's premier defense infrastructure construction and environmental contractors. As a prime contractor to the Air Force, ITSI has successfully performed design/build construction projects under other Air Force contracts including the Heavy Engineering Repair and Construction (HERC) with a capacity up to $15 billion, the Worldwide Environmental Remediation and Construction (WERC) with a capacity up to $10 billion, the Design-Build-Plus 03 (DBP03) with a capacity up to $1 billion, and the Environmental Remedial Action Contract (ENRAC) with a capacity up to $750 million.

Dr. Shukla, President of ITSI, commented that he is, "Pleased that the AFCESA has selected ITSI for award of a Full and Open contract to support the Air Force in their SRM requirements. This contract squarely fits one of our core competencies in delivering high quality SRM services worldwide. This award is a credit to the excellent performance of our employees and the confidence and support of our clients. Our company will continue to stress the high quality performance and excellence in workmanship that we have delivered in the past."

ITSI is a worldwide full-service infrastructure construction, engineering, and remediation services company. ITSI has 25 offices worldwide and provides clients with innovative and proven techniques to solve construction and environmental needs in the areas of engineering design, civil construction, remediation, and decontamination/decommissioning services.
