MediCall Continues Aggressive Expansion of Workers’ Compensation Division with Addition of Two Industry Veterans
Publish Date : 1/29/2008 7:44:00 AM   Source : Health News Onlypunjab.com

California based MediCall, a specialized healthcare services provider, announced today the addition of Marcia Alexander and Bryan Crawley to the MediCall executive team. Both seasoned workers’ compensation insurance professionals join MediCall as vice presidents with their responsibilities focused on strengthening and expanding MediCall’s presence in the workers’ compensation market. In their new positions, Alexander will drive MediCall’s clinical program effort, while Crawley will spearhead Medical Bill Review and other specialized WC program initiatives.

“We are committed to the workers’ compensation market and are investing heavily in recruiting the talent and experience we need to help us rapidly and aggressively expand our footprint. Marcia and Bryan are both highly experienced and respected in this industry; and we are thrilled to announce that they have joined our executive team,” commented John Chess, MediCall’s CEO. “With Marcia and Bryan now on board we anticipate increasing the momentum we have already achieved in the workers’ compensation space.”

Marcia Alexander is an RN and Certified Case Manager. She joins MediCall with over 25 years of clinical experience having spent the last ten years focusing her practice in the workers’ compensation field. Prior to joining MediCall, Ms. Alexander was most recently Vice President, Clinical Operations Manager with Sedgwick CMS. Joining Sedgwick in 1999, she was one of the organization’s first telephonic case managers and was instrumental in the development of Sedqwick’s clinical programs; achieving URAC accreditation for both case management and utilization review. She was a case manager with Intracorp and spent her early career in hospital based medical-surgical nursing with a significant focus in the peri-operative arena specializing in orthopedic surgery.

Bryan Crawley brings an equally impressive workers’ compensation industry background with over 19 years of experience in all facets of medical and disability management products, services and delivery. He joined MediCall from TechHealth where he served as Vice President of Market and Business Development with responsibilities for the development and implementation of specialized Ancillary Medical Network programs. Earlier in his career, Mr. Crawley was Vice President of Resource Alliance with Sedqwick CMS where he was responsible for the management and oversight of the organization’s medical and disability management business, partner relationships and national program implementation. He also served as the National Director of Fee Management for Intracorp’s Eastern and Western divisions.
