Infor Receives Consumer Goods Technology Readers Choice Award for Third Consecutive Year
Publish Date : 2/25/2008 8:29:00 AM   Source : Technology News Onlypunjab.com

Infor today announced it has been named among the top solutions providers in four categories by the annual Consumer Goods Technology Reader's Choice awards. Infor was recognized in the “Top Five in ERP,” “Top Ten Supply Chain Planning,” “Top Ten Supply Chain Execution,” and “Top Ten New Product Development and Introduction” categories. The annual survey is conducted by an independent third party on behalf of Consumer Goods Technology magazine. It polls executives from consumer goods companies to determine the top ten providers in areas such as supply chain planning, supply chain execution, trade promotion management, new products development and introduction, demand data analytics, and more

Built on years of deep domain experience, Infor's products for consumer packaged goods companies include applications for enterprise resource planning (ERP), product lifecycle management (PLM), supply chain management (SCM), performance management (PM), customer relationship management (CRM), and enterprise asset management (EAM).

In the face of mounting market pressures and increasingly complex compliance demands, Infor helps consumer packaged goods companies and retailers with private label brands react quickly to shifts in product demand and consumer trends. Companies can also increase margins by improving sustainability and reducing material costs, dramatically reduce the time it takes to bring products to market and improve inventory management through better replenishment and inventory planning.

“For the third straight year, the readers of Consumer Goods Technology have demonstrated their appreciation for Infor's solutions that are built specifically for the needs of their industry,” said Rory Granros, director of product marketing for Infor. “Infor's proven ability to help these organizations enhance the way they collaborate with retailers, mitigate the risks associated with extended supply chains and become more customer-centric has built enduring partnerships between Infor and many of the leading consumer packaged goods companies.”
