Texterity, Inc., a leading provider of digital publishing solutions, announced top management changes in response to company growth.
Texterity announced the appointment of Cimarron Buser to Senior Vice President, Marketing & Business Development, Carl Scholz to Senior Vice President, Technology & Operations, and Bob Ludwick to Vice President of Sales.
Cimarron Buser has been with Texterity since 2000, responsible for sales, marketing, and product planning. He helped launch and grow Texterity’s Published Web Format platform from its beginnings to the current leading position in the magazine publishing market. Buser also authors a blog and is a frequent speaker at industry events. Previously, he was the GM and VP of Internet Products for FaxNet.
Carl Scholz joined Texterity in 1995 as a system architect and lead developer. He became VP of Technology in 1998 and has since built Texterity's engineering team into an enterprise class organization. A recent success was the launch of Texterity's iPhone Magazine system as a derivative of Texterity's Published Web Format. To support Texterity's high growth and increasingly sophisticated services, Carl will now manage an integrated technology and operations department.
Bob Ludwick moves from print to digital, now responsible for Texterity’s worldwide sales. He brings 25 years of sales management and custom publishing experience. Most recently he worked for The Pohly Company where he was publisher of Continental, the inflight magazine for Continental Airlines. His significant experience working with print advertisers will greatly assist Texterity’s clients in monetizing their digital editions.
Martin Hensel, President of Texterity stated, “Texterity is a great partner for publishers and our growth has been significant. These promotions give us better ability to serve our customers.”
Doubling its client base in the course of the year, Texterity now creates, hosts, and tracks over 800 digital publications, including more than 500 consumer and B2B magazines. Using its patented Published Web Format, Texterity’s solutions include integrated circulation systems, “Look Inside” technology, and the first specifically-created iPhone/iPod Touch magazine delivery system.
