They have already made it illegal for bus drivers to talk while driving a bus as they should. These school buses cost the tax payers over $85,000.00 dollars and that is to much money to run off the road. I do not want a bus driver talking on the cell phone and transporting my child. If it has been ruled unsafe then the police need to start writing tickets to get the drivers that are still doing it and make a statement that our children are more important than their habit of running their mouths. There are two way radios that can be used to report problems or emergencies so there is no reason for the cell phones.
Why is it in our society we cannot speak to the people that are present and have to have a cell phone in our ear from the time they get up to when they go to snooze at night. What did people do before the cell phone came to play, now the cell phone is taking over where the idiot TV box left off. When was the last time you took the time to write a letter to an old friend and made their day? Invited your friends over for tea, or played cards and actually listened when you teenager spoke to you. No wonder they tune us out if we are set up on a cell phone and have no time for them.
I say everything is okay up to a point but nothing is okay to an extreme. If you have an emergency it's nice to have a phone to call for help. Take time to enjoy your life and leave that cell phone in the car when you go to eat or go see a movie and be good company with those you are with.
