Supercapacitors, also called “ultracapacitors,” combine the energy-storage capability of batteries with the rapid charge and discharge times of conventional capacitors. Supercapacitors can offload large instantaneous power demands from a battery to enable new functionality and extend battery life.

CAP-XX supercapacitors are the smallest and thinnest available today for any given ESR and capacitance.
