This webinar will explore the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) new "No Match" regulations and differentiate myths from facts.

On Oct. 10, 2007, a federal judge temporarily halted the implementation of the DHS' new "No Match" regulations. Under the regulations, employers who receive "No Match" letters must take affirmative steps to resolve the issues that gave rise to the "No Match" letter or face possible civil and criminal liability.

A "No Match" letter is issued when an employee's Social Security number does not match the employee's name in either the DHS' or the Social Security Administration's databases.
