The new release offers enhanced functionality to meet the very specific needs of Obstetric (OB) visits and allow Ob-Gyn providers to immediately benefit from a paperless environment. A Customer Advisory Panel of Ob-Gyn physicians using Sevocity helped design the new release.

With Sevocity 4.2, Ob-Gyn providers receive ready-made electronic health record (EHR) encounters for OB that “are a lot faster and easier” according to Dr. Melanie Pagette with Mockingbird OBGYN, PA, a Sevocity Ob-Gyn client and member of the Customer Advisory Panel. “Sevocity EHR is very user-friendly. It only takes minutes to do procedure notes and I don’t need any transcription. Also, coding and billing are so much easier now”, said Pagette.

New features in Sevocity 4.2 include:

• Five new encounter types for OB including OB intake, OB initial and follow-up visits, OB delivery summary and OB Postpartum.

• Color-coded charts that allow physicians to instantly identify OB patients.

• OB reporting including an estimated due date report.

• Streamlined hospital OB Summary with a push of a button.

• Additional OB functionality including RhoGAM alerts, tracking weight changes and much more.
