This year’s Power Brokers were chosen based on a major accomplishment in their roles as brokers during the past year that set them apart as one of the top players in one (or in some cases more than one) of Risk & Insurance’s 28 pre-selected industry practice groups. Each broker’s accomplishment was then judged on three points: the level of creativity shown in helping clients solve risk-related problems; the broker’s demonstrated industry knowledge, and his or her level of client service. Additional information on each of the nominees was then ascertained through a series of client interviews before the final decisions were made.
