Exalead®, a global provider of search software for business and the Web, today announced the appointment of Kevin R. Kramer as vice president of OEM. In his new role, Kramer will be responsible for the development of Exalead's OEM partnerships and go-to-market strategies.

Kramer joins Exalead from Blue Chip Expert, where he was a founding team member and vice president of business development. He was instrumental in all operational aspects of the business and fulfilled various roles in sales, operations, product management, product marketing, strategic planning and business development.

"Exalead one:search brings software vendors a differentiated search product that can help them distinguish from their competition while managing their cost of goods and their customers' total cost of ownership. I look forward to being a part of a company that has proven itself to be an innovator," said Kramer.

"Kevin has an impressive track record of successfully structuring customer relationships," Francois Bourdoncle, CEO of Exalead. "We are extremely pleased to have Kevin join our rapidly growing team and believe his experience positions him to best manage and evolve Exalead's OEM strategy and customer base."

Kramer joined Blue Chip Expert as its first business executive to build the initial sales and fulfillment team for the social networking-powered jobs company. There, he successfully drove the company's viral marketing strategy and accelerated membership by 300 percent in less than a year.

Prior to joining Blue Chip Expert, Kramer was responsible for Western Region Sales for PlanView, Inc. He has also held various sales and sales management positions for leading Enterprise Software vendors including Oracle and PeopleSoft. Kramer holds a Bachelor's Degree from Princeton University and currently resides in San Francisco, California. He will be based in Exalead's San Francisco office.
