The contest, sponsored by www.super-science-fair-projects.com, runs from January 15 through June 15, 2008. The winner of the elementary school division receives a Magnacraft 50mm. power telescope. The winners of the middle school and high school/college divisions receive MP3 players. Every entrant will receive a specially designed certificate acknowledging their participation.

Students must submit an original project---nothing copied from a book or off the Internet---choosing one of these 3 categories:

• An experiment focused on the environment. Include a video demonstrating the 6 steps of the scientific method and an abstract of the experiment.
• A design for a "green" house or building, including a list of materials that can be used to make the structure totally eco-friendly.
• A new and original initiative in your school or community that promotes ecology awareness and environmentally friendly actions. Include a video in which participants tell how the effort influenced them to change their lives.
