The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, with its rich tradition and history of stewardship to the community, has been successfully running since 1950. Due to its effective marketing techniques, the Stock Show & Rodeo has grown to be one of the largest and most prestigious, single events in San Antonio with over one million visitors entering the grounds each year.
The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, a non-profit organization supporting Texas youth and education, has a long history of successful marketing campaigns utilizing local sponsorships to promote the many businesses of San Antonio.
Just in time for the rodeo, the San Antonio Chapter of the American Marketing Association will host a luncheon event educating attendees on the successful marketing and sponsorship techniques of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.
Chris Derby, Corporate Relations Director for the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, will discuss how to carefully use sponsorships in marketing plans. As marketing director for retail properties, Chris Derby has won several awards for his innovative marketing plans with the Stock Show & Rodeo.
In close proximity with the Stock Show & Rodeo, the luncheon event will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd at 11:30 am at Sunset Station, located at 1174 E. Commerce. Free parking will be provided for all attendees. All members, guests and AMA student members are encouraged to attend.
