Screen
The screen dominates the handset. The plastic covering the screen possesses glossy mercury surface and gives the phone a modern look. This glossy surface can be a problem at times when you are outside as it reflects everything other than the information on the screen. Keys
The Samsung U600 is a slider phone. The slider comes equipped with spring-loaded slide mechanism. Under the slider is the keypad. The main numeric pad is designed after RAZR, being a slim metal plate it gives you a tactile feed back. This makes use of the keypad quite comfortable. The keys are lit in bright white, which is visible in various environments. The soft keys are touch-sensitive. The backlighting is spread only to the soft-keys; while the calls receive/reject buttons are not illuminated at all.
