The Sakai integration tool, developed by Cdigix at the request of its higher education customers, enables institutions using the Sakai platform to further enhance the learning process by providing simplified, course-level access to additional resources on-demand.

The Sakai integration tool leverages the C-Labs API, enabling users to automatically view assigned media titles and download the files to their computer from within the course management system. The automated process enables students to concentrate their efforts more on course content rather than navigating various technology platforms.

Additionally, the integration tool automates the authentication process so administrators can eliminate duplication of multiple systems. Administrators no longer need to associate students with both systems. The tool enables recognition of those students in the Sakai system, while still maintaining the security Cdigix has built into C-Labs to control which users view content during specified times.
