Resolution Health Taps Health Care Economist Susheel Jain as VP, Corporate and Product Strategy
Publish Date : 1/15/2008 6:07:00 AM   Source : Health News Onlypunjab.com

Resolution Health, Inc., a data analytics-driven health care intervention company, has named senior health care economist Susheel Jain to the position of Vice President, Corporate and Product Strategy. Jain will help to identify and establish new strategic business alliances and guide the evolution of the companys products.

Susheel brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in health care strategy, product and business development to Resolution Health, with a unique combination of industry vision and technical expertise that will help us immensely, says Earl P. Steinberg, MD, MPP, president and CEO of Resolution Health. We are building a world-class management team with diverse backgrounds and management skills to solidify our position as an industry leader in personal health care guidance. Adding Susheel to our senior management team will help us expand our scope and sharpen our decision making to create the products, services and alliances that are needed to change the way health care is delivered in this country.

Resolution Health compares health plan members current and historical care with evidence-based clinical practice recommendations and sends personalized messages to alert them and their physicians about health care improvement and cost savings opportunities. These communications have been proven to positively change individuals behaviors, leading to improved health care quality and lower health care costs.

Jain was educated at Pennsylvania State University. He holds an MA degree in medical anthropology and has a PhD ABD in health policy and economics from the RAND/UCLA Center for Health Policy. Before joining Resolution Health, Jain was senior vice president for federal healthcare at ACS, Inc., a global leader in business process and technology outsourcing. At ACS he led business strategy development and drove sales growth for the Government Solutions Group, a $2 billion business unit, and was named to the top leadership group in the organization.

In addition, Jain is a nationally recognized leader in disease management. He was director of emerging markets at CorSolutions, which secured the industrys first contracts for the federal Medicare program and for a state Medicaid agency. Jain also has served as a consultant to leading government and commercial health care firms and has taught health economics, health insurance and finance courses at UCLA and the University of Maryland.

Joining Resolution Health provides a unique opportunity to impact health care delivery, as the company connects personally with millions of Americans to improve their health care and save them money, Jain says.
