RehabCare Partners With Blast Companies For Recruiting Campaign
Publish Date : 1/4/2008 7:33:00 AM   Source : Education and Studies Onlypunjab.com

In an effort to better communicate with students and new graduates in the medical rehabilitation fields, St. Louis, MO-based RehabCare turned to Blast Companies for development of a one-of-a-kind text messaging recruiting campaign.

Utilizing the engage mobile platform, Blast Companies helped RehabCare develop a text messaging application that enables RehabCare to gather information from employment candidates that includes not only their cell phone number, but also their email address, name, graduation date and specialty. Furthermore, all information is available in real time through Blast Companies' data capture reporting.

"Using text messaging to communicate with job seekers is a great way to speak to a target audience efficiently and effectively," said Chris Torbit, Blast Companies founder and president. "Not only will RehabCare be able to let users know when a job opening is posted, with the information gathered, it will be able to send messages based on users' specialties -- avoiding unneeded messages and unnecessary costs."

Blast Companies text messaging application enables clients to send short messages (160 characters) to mobile users. Text messaging allows clients to advertise to a more targeted audience than ever before; increase sales and grow customer retention and frequency; and build one-to-one relationships with clients, as well as a database for future marketing programs. Blast Companies' user-enabled text messaging application enables cell phone users to communicate with brands by entering keywords and interacting with mobile applications. Text messaging is just one aspect of Blast Companies' full spectrum of sophisticated messaging applications and marketing services available to its clients.

"It is always a good idea to speak to your audience on their terms, and we think text messaging is the way to go considering our target audiences' lifestyle -- they are going to class, working, looking for jobs," said Barbara Wallace, RehabCare Assistant Vice President, Campus Relations. "Blast Companies made it easy to get our campaign going and now we are taking it to different schools and recruiting events around the country."

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, RehabCare (www.rehabcare.com) is a leading national provider of physical rehabilitation services in conjunction with nearly 1,250 skilled nursing facilities and hospitals in 43 states and the District of Columbia. The Company also owns and/or operates freestanding rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospitals.

Blast Companies offers database messaging applications and marketing services in voice broadcasting, e-mail marketing, IVR and mobile messaging. The company offers a robust product set enabling businesses to deliver personal, interactive messages simultaneously to thousands of customers and prospects over various communications mediums. By offering not just the technology, but also the marketing strategy, design and execution, Blast Companies helps clients dramatically increase productivity, profitability and brand awareness.
