ALM’s Real Estate Media Division, a leader in news and information for the commercial real estate industry, has launched a new online section, focused on technology for real estate professionals, on its GlobeSt.com Web site at www.globest.com/technology. The page is a recent addition to the ongoing series of sections and features that are being added to GlobeSt.com.
The technology section provides access to content on key technology issues impacting real estate practitioners, as well as exclusive case studies, interviews and profiles of leading industry technology innovators. The section offers reviews of relevant, industry-related products, with feedback opportunities that enable readers to comment on and rate products. Technology blogs, authored by industry experts and staff writers, will also be available.
Message boards on user-determined technology issues allow visitors to post questions and provide answers, while future podcasts will answer questions fueled by message boards and user requests. Industry vendors can also submit new product announcements for posting on the site.
Launch of the technology section follows the addition in January of GlobeSt.com sections focused on Retail, Industrial and Capital Markets. Sections tailored to the office, apartments and hotel sectors are currently being introduced. Each new offering provides expanded news, features and commentary, as well as blogs and podcasts, interactive polls, industry event calendars, “professionals-on-the-move” sections and commentary by recognized experts and industry leaders. Site users can also find jobs, recruit new talent, locate service providers and access research and analysis from recognized industry sources.
