Challenging the Left parties to withdraw support to the UPA Government on the Indo-US Nuclear Deal issue, BJP President Rajnath Singh today asked his partymen to get ready for early Lok Sabha polls.

While appealing to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to reconsider its decision to operationalise the 123 Agreement in the national interest, he said in public meeting at the Nizam College Grounds that ''if the Left parties were fair, they should not continue to support the UPA Government on the issue.'' He charged the UPA Government with failure on ''all fronts'', including checking spiralling of prices of essentials.

Charging the UPA Government at the Centre and the Congress Government in Andhra Pradesh with 'utter failure' to tackle terrorism and naxalism, the BJP President reiterated the demand for revival of Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) to act firmly against terrorists. Repeal of POTA was responsible for increase in cross-border terrorism, he claimed, urging the UPA Government to effectively take up India's concern over increasing terrorist infiltration from Pakistan and Bangladesh with the United Nations and press for joint international military operations to curb terrorism.

Referring to affidavit filed by the Centre in the Supreme Court over the Ram Sethu issue, he said the UPA Government had hurt the sentiments of millions of Hindus.

''We will support the Ram Sethu Raksha Samiti fully for justice,'' he added.

Accusing the UPA Government of pursuing policies to appease the minorities, he charged the Centre with dividing Hindus and Muslims for votebank politics.

''The UPA Government's decision to implement the Sachar Committee Report was nothing but an attempt with an eye on their votes,'' he alleged.

Making it clear the BJP was against religion-based reservation as it was not in the country's interest, he said his party supported a package for socio-economic uplift of the Muslims.
