Highly respected and multi-award winning veteran technology executive Lyle Jordan has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Purcell Systems Inc. Mr. Jordan will assume his new responsibilities immediately. Robert Kjelldorff, who pioneered Purcell’s initiatives to enter the European market, will expand his responsibilities to include the rapidly growing markets in the Middle East and Africa. Both Mr. Jordan and Mr. Kjelldorff will continue to report directly to Chairman and CEO Pete Chase.
In this newly defined role Mr. Jordan will focus on developing the company’s capability to rapidly meet customer requirements and reduce product delivery cycle times. Mr. Jordan will also oversee all activities pertaining to Purcell’s engineering and product development initiatives aimed at expanding its offering of industry leading, scalable site support solutions designed to fit the complex and evolving deployment scenarios of its customers.
“Lyle has done an outstanding job of improving customer satisfaction and architecting manufacturing and supply chain solutions that seamlessly deliver products. He is the ideal person to provide leadership for all of our North and South American activities as we work to increase Purcell’s share of the outdoor enclosure market,” said Pete Chase, Chairman and CEO. Since joining Purcell in July of 2007, Mr. Jordan has lead initiatives to refine the company's business model and operating philosophy which have delivered both improved profitability and increased operational effectiveness.
Mr. Chase also announced the expansion of the responsibilities for Robert Kjelldorff, Managing Director and President of Purcell Systems AB, to include responsibility for markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Kjelldorff successfully led the launch of Purcell beyond its domestic markets and directs the company’s European operations headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Mr. Kjelldorff will be responsible for building an organization to service the rapidly growing markets in the Middle East and Africa.
"This appointment reflects the depth of experience and expertise Mr. Kjelldorff has in the industry, and the key customer relationships he had developed in these important markets,” said Mr. Chase. “As wireless communications spread in developing and heavily populated areas, we intend to be well positioned to bring solutions to our customers which support their telecommunications infrastructure deployment strategy,” continued Chase.
The company announced these new appointments will allow Mr. Chase to concentrate his activities on further developing global customer relationships, recruiting a board of industry advisors and providing strategic direction for the company.
