Senior BJP leaders, including former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, would participate in the public meeting to be held on September 23, the last day of the party's three-day national executive meet.
BJP spokesperson Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, who was here to review preparations for the meeting, told reporters today that the meeting would raise issues like separatist and pro-terrorist polices of the Centre and its failure on the economic front besides criminal negligence on sensitive issues such as 'Ram Sethu'.
The decision was taken at a party meeting organised here today.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state party President Narendra Singh Tomar and other senior party office-bearers were present in the meeting.
Besides Mr Vajpayee, senior BJP leader L K Advani, BJP President Rajnath Singh and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states would address the meeting.
Commenting upon the 'Ram Sethu' issue, Mr Naqvi said the government had hurt the feelings of the people by filing a false affidavit.
He said the national executive meeting would pass resolutions on corruption, terrorism and internal security besides other issues.
Mr Naqvi gave clean chit to the BJP-ruled state government claiming that development and not corruption was the main issue concerning Madhya Pradesh.
