Prison Minister Marty Angelo Sends Reminder Letter to Paris Hilton
Publish Date : 12/28/2007 4:53:00 AM   Source : Entertainment News Onlypunjab.com

Outspoken prison minister and author, Marty Angelo released an Open Letter today that he sent to hotel heiress, Paris Hilton dated November 19, 2007. The letter was sent as a reminder to Hilton of her comments made on Larry King Live on June 27, 2007.

Hilton was interviewed on Larry King Live a day after being released from Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California where she served 23 days of her 45-day jail sentence for violation of probation. She informed King at that time, "I want to help set up a place where these women can get themselves back on their feet. A place with food, shelter and clothing and programs, kind of a transitional home. I know I can make a difference and hopefully stop this vicious circle of these people going in and out of jail."

It has been six-months since Paris Hilton was released from jail and she still has not announced plans for opening a women's ex-convict transitional home.

"I would love to see Paris Hilton live up to her word," stated Angelo who once offered to serve Hilton's jail sentence in return for her enrollment into a faith-based residential treatment program.

"Hilton needs to remember where she comes from," Angelo continues, "Paris Hilton is no longer 'just' a high society hotel heiress but also an 'ex-convict' who God helped through her jail sentence. She should now give back by living up to her word."

Angelo informed Hilton in his letter that he knows people who are willing to help her with her vision to open a transitional home for women. So far, Hilton has not responded.

"Paris Hilton also stated in her King interview that she felt God gave her 'a new beginning' and things were going to be different once she was released from jail. What is so different?" Angelo questions. "Where is Paris Hilton's new beginning? All I see her doing is running in and out of nightclubs, taking long luxurious vacations, and attending various social events. What is so new? It sounds to me like the same old 'party hardy' Paris Hilton."

Marty Angelo is the author of the powerful life-changing autobiography, "Once Life Matters: A New Beginning." The book is offered free to prisons, substance abuse rehab programs, and troubled celebrities.
