Food Innovation Online has officially launched its new website PotatoPro.

PotatoPro is entirely dedicated to potato products, including French fries, Chips and Snacks, Starch and the Potato supply chain. Targeting professionals worldwide, PotatoPro offers the most extensive and up to date collection of News, Company Directories, Internet Resources, Books, Market Research, Equipment and Expert advice for the potato processing industry.

"Moving the site was very important for us, since we continuously work to improve the user experience", says Paul van Eijck, who founded Food Innovation Online in 2006. "Based on experience with our first site, we saw opportunities to make it easier for visitors to find the information they need."

This resulted in a simplified navigation and a dynamic way to offer related content. We created topics (like French Fries, Chips and Snacks, Processing Equipment, QSR chains) to target specific interests in the potato industry.

"We also wanted the site to look better. When we asked our readers to suggest possible improvements of the original site, the inclusion of more graphics was one of the top suggestions," says van Eijck.

PotatoPro offers a free subscription on a Newsletter that weekly addresses a potato processing topic in the news. The PotatoPro Newsletter also informs on the latest Products, Events and News. "The changes will also improve the deliverability of the PotatoPro Newsletter, one of the ways we stay in touch with our audience, something we find of critical importance".
