Play65 Backgammon Winners Go to Italy

Play65 will send four of its backgammon players to compete in the most prestigious backgammon tournament in Europe, the EBGT. Winners of Play65 special Saturday tournaments will be awarded with a special prize package, which includes a flight to Italy, accommodation, board and lodging money, and, of course, a free entrance to the European backgammon tournament.
The world's top backgammon players will participate at the 19th City of Venice International Backgammon Tournament, scheduled between November 29th and December 2nd, 2007. Four of Play65 online backgammon players will be among them. The popular backgammon site hosts a series of special tournaments in which the winners are awarded with a European Backgammon Tour prize package.
Every Saturday, starting on October 20th until November 10th, a Play65 special "Italy" tournament will take place, in which 32 players will share a prize pool of $1,000 and the winner will fly to Italy to take part in the Venice International Backgammon Tournament. On top of the flight and the free entrance to the prestigious European backgammon tournament, the winners of Play65 special Saturday events will receive 5 day accommodation at the luxurious "Sofitel Venezia" hotel and board and lodging money.
About European Backgammon Tour Organized by the World Backgammon Association, the European Backgammon Tour (EBGT) is the most prestigious event in Europe and one of the most important backgammon tournaments in the world. The 19th City of Venice event is scheduled to November 28th until December 2nd 2007. The winners of the tournament will share a total prize of at least 10,000 euro.
