Pima Medical Institute, 3770 Citadel Drive in Colorado Springs announced that Karen McGrath has been promoted to Assistant Director of Operations. McGrath will be involved with campus policies and procedures, placement support, Campus Director training, as well as assist in growth initiatives and special projects for all of Pima Medical Institute's campuses throughout the west.
McGrath most recently served as the Campus Director for the Colorado Springs campus and has been with the company since January 2002. She was at the helm of the small career college when it garnered numerous awards, including national, regional and local recognition for staff, students and programs.
The Colorado Springs campus has programs for Dental Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician and Veterinary Assistant.
"Karen has elevated the Colorado Springs campus to new heights and great accomplishment," said Fred Freedman, Director of Operations for PMI. "Her management style, knowledge of accreditation standards, regulatory process and campus operations have been key driving factors in the success of the Colorado Springs campus. We look forward to drawing on her expertise to bring out the best in all nine of Pima Medical Institute's campuses, just as she has done at the Colorado Springs location."
