The City of Temple Terrace, Fla. has entered a contract with American Traffic Solutions to provide a traffic-safety camera program. All the systems will be equipped with ATS’ latest ultra high-resolution digital cameras.
ATS was selected based on the company’s experience, technology and approach to providing the enforcement tools we believe will reduce crashes and increase safety in our community,” said Temple Terrace City Manager Kim Leinbach.
Temple Terrace, a city of 24,000 near Tampa, is the ninth Florida jurisdiction where ATS has been chosen to provide photo safety-enforcement programs with the company’s advanced photo traffic safety and enforcement technology.
In Florida, ATS already serves, is contracted, or has been selected by Apopka, Aventura, Miami Gardens, Orange County, Palm Coast, Pembroke Pines, Port Richey and Satellite Beach. In addition, ATS has a contract with the Florida Turnpike Enterprise to provide ATS’ PlatePass® cashless toll payment services for rental car companies and their customers who use the Florida toll roads.
