PatentLawPortal.com and PatentYourInventions, two top patent law websites will be sold this month. Lisa Parmley, a registered patent practitioner, is the owner and founder of both websites. The sites focus on educating inventors, small businesses, and entrepreneurs on important patent law topics including invention submission scams and patent application details.

When asked who her ideal buyer is, Mrs. Parmley replied, "I would like to see a patent attorney or patent law firm buy them. Since they are such highly ranked patent and invention related sites, all it would take is the addition of a 'services' page and a patent attorney or firm would likely start getting new clients immediately."

Both PatentLawPortal.com and PatentYourInventions are ranked highly for desirable patent and invention related terms in the most popular search engines like Google and Yahoo. Getting top search engine placement through the pay-per-click model costs between $3 and $9 a click for popular terms like 'patent attorney', 'patent inventions', and 'invention help'. Due to proper search engine optimization, these sites rank well in the search engines for these terms naturally.

Mrs. Parmley estimates that the natural search traffic these sites receive would cost about $300 a day per site for a business paying for clicks. She points out that, "many patent attorneys and firms are paying thousands of dollars per month in advertising to receive far fewer visitors than these sites receive per month at no cost."

In addition to the high rankings of these sites for top performing keywords and phrases, they are also older domains, with lots of links from other websites in the patent law community. This means the sites should stay ranked high for many years to come.

Mrs. Parmley is selling both sites due to a change in the direction of her company, Intellectual Properties Enterprises, Inc. Her company is moving away from the law field and branching out into elearning territory.
