28th Annual Parade of Boats floats into Charleston, SC

Thousands of spectators will be on hand to view the procession of festive boats lighting the waterfront from Mount Pleasant to Charleston on December 1. The floating parade allows boat owners to show off their best decorating skills with prizes awarded in several categories, including Best in Show. The parade starts at approximately 5:30 p.m. and ends at approximately 7:30 p.m., depending on wind and current. A spectacular fireworks display shot from historic Charleston Harbor will occur at the mid point. Participating crews are invited to the Captain's Party (date, time and location to be announced).
