Over its 54-year history, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, headquartered in Yorktown Heights, New York, has earned the public’s respect as one of the world’s leading guide dog schools, providing superbly bred and trained guide dogs to the blind free of charge. Guiding Eyes is proud to announce Lands’ End® Business Outfitters as their official apparel provider.
Through the new Guiding Eyes web site, www.guidingeyes.org, the public will have access to a special e-store to buy a variety of Lands’ End products: from polos and outerwear to totes and caps.
Customers can choose which dog breed they want embroidered on their apparel, thanks to the development of a new Guiding Eyes merchandise logo, designed by TFI/Envision of Norwalk, Connecticut. Lands’ End adapted the designs for embroidery to capture the essence of each canine breed. The Lands’ End embroidery on-demand program will allow customers to select yellow and black Labradors, golden retriever, and German shepherd logos (all the dogs bred and trained by Guiding Eyes for guide dog work).
“Guiding Eyes for the Blind chose Lands’ End Business Outfitters as its Official Apparel Provider because of our shared dedication to excellence. Lands’ End’s reputation for high quality apparel and dedication to customer service is unmatched,” said Lisa Deutsch — Director of Outreach and Communications.
