Beverly Magid is an East Coast native who now resides in Los Angeles, Calif. She worked for many years as a journalist and publicist in the entertainment industry. She was a founding member of the MorningStar Commission, an organization dedicated to seeing Jewish women depicted honestly in media. She is hard at work researching for her next book set in Russia's Pale of the Jewish Settlement in 1905.
