The software provides a rich mobile interface to Mentat, a free online service used for personal task and project management. The BlackBerry can be used to review, edit, or close items while away from the desk. The BlackBerry can be used to rapidly enter tasks and notes to projects in the system through its celebrated keyboard or via dictation using a simple, speed-dialed voice call.

Mentat Teams and Group subscribers can use to the BlackBerry client to work with collaborative projects on the go, including notifications for new tasks or comments on tasks from other team users. Tasks can be defined and assigned to other team members with detailed comments, priorities and due dates.

Apple iPhone users already have mobile access to task data via the iPhone's browser, but the BlackBerry client, as a full-fledged application, allows for an even better mobile experience since information stays cached and doesn't have to be downloaded each time a project is accessed.
