Trolltech will contribute strategic components to the LiMo software stack that include a breakthrough integration of online services and native mobile applications. It will both speed delivery of LiMo-compliant devices and allow operators to create new, revenue-generating service architectures. LiMo was launched in January 2007 by six mobile industry leaders – Motorola, NEC, NTT DoCoMo, Panasonic Mobile Communications, Samsung Electronics and Vodafone. In addition to Trolltech, today Acrodea, ETRI, Huawei and Purple Labs are also joining the LiMo Foundation.
