Innovative Technical Solutions, Inc. (ITSI) has been selected by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest for a $120 million Performance-Based Multiple Award Contract for Environmental Remediation Services (PERMAC) at Navy and Marine Corps installations within NAVFAC locations.
ITSI was selected from 13 competitors to receive one of four awards made by the Navy. The contract term is for one year plus four option years. Work will primarily be performed at Department of Defense (DoD) sites in California, Arizona, Alaska, Nevada, Washington, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah but may also be used nationwide. Project scopes may include environmental remediation or design-remediation of media contaminated by solvents, petroleum, metals, bases and reactors found in soils, sediments, groundwater and man-made structures at DoD sites.
The PERMAC contract award is another major step in establishing ITSI as one of the largest firms in its class serving the DoD. With compounded annual growth rate exceeding 50 percent for the past 10 years, ITSI is one of the nation's premier defense infrastructure construction and environmental contractors. As a prime contractor to the Navy, ITSI has successfully performed environmental projects under other Navy contracts including several Environmental Multiple Award Contracts (EMACs), the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Hunter’s Point Shipyard, the airfield ID/IQ contract and the Remedial Action Contract (RAC).
