If you are trying to put on weight, you probably already know that you are in the minority. Chances are, you have heard someone say something along these lines. "You can't gain weight? Man, I wish I had that problem." Sure, it sounds easy to sit around and just eat all you want without ever worrying about getting overweight.
The only thing is... It's definitely not as easy as it sounds. If you have tried and failed to put on weight, you know what I mean. It is difficult to constantly eat when you do not feel hungry.
In this article I am going to cover the ten best muscle building foods. I had two criteria when I picked the foods for this list. The first was nutritional content. It is important to consume calorie rich foods that are going to provide your body with the fuel it needs to rebuild. The simple truth of a weight gain diet is that you need to take in more calories than your body consumes. These excess calories become the building blocks of new muscle.
The second criterion that I used to choose food for this list was convenience. When gaining weight, your goal should be to keep your body in an anabolic state. In order to do this, you should eat every three hours. This means that you will be eating five to six times per day. You are a busy person and spending time in the kitchen to prepare meals is difficult to do five or six times a day. Foods that provide you with an easy meal are essential to weight gain.
