Motorola Makes A Clean Shave Of The Cell Phone World With The Motorola RAZR V3 Cell Phone
Publish Date : 10/2/2007 10:57:00 PM   Source : Mobile and Gadgets News Onlypunjab.com

As one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world, Motorola has to stay on top to keep its reputation steady and to prove that it is a true world leader in the telecommunications industry. One of the phone models that helped them do this was the RAZR, the phone model so thin that it looked like it could actually cut someone -- like a razor. The Motorola RAZR V3 model was first introduced to the US market in 2005. And when it did hit the market, it hit it so hard that it was ranked the 12th Greatest Gadget in the past 50 Years by the esteemed publication PC World.

Soon, countries around the world enjoyed the same RAZR V3 technology that the US was enjoying and it was introduced to them in 2006. And the best thing about the RAZR aside from its minute size and razor-sharp features was its price: $200 in Australia, GBP 70 in the United Kingdom, and about $200 in Canada. In the US, companies like Verizon and Cingular were the first to market the RAZR and others would soon follow suit because of the public demand. By the middle of the year, Motorola proved their point through their 50 millionth sale of the Motorola RAZR V3; the most popular phone on the planet.

Of course, the Motorola technology did not stop there and the RAZR V3 soon met slower sales. What Motorola did was release even better models of the RAZR such as the V3c, V3i, V3t, and the latest V3m. Of course, regardless of the model name, the phone will always be known as the RAZR with much better multimedia features now than ever before. And it’s all about being luxurious. Take the Motorola RAZR V3m, for example; it is made with an aluminum housing, has a nickel keypad with keys made of copper alloy, has two screens (one inside and one outside), and as a multimedia powerhouse it demands 16-bit color resolution. All of that packed in the same razor thin form factor.

The Motorola RAZR V3m is the latest in the series and it is built for multimedia power. Sporting a 1.3 mega pixel camera, it even has 4x zoom and it has a built-in music player for stereo quality mp3s and WMAs that can be stored on its onboard memory or on separate memory cards that can be plugged into it. The phone also has Wireless Access Protocol, or WAP 2.0, that allows one to browse the internet, download and watch streaming video. With the right service, these are multimedia capabilities that can be used with great ease and speed. If that’s not enough, try using the phone as a navigator as it has GPS capabilities and can give you voice instructions regarding directions that you may want help with.

The Motorola RAZR is definitely a winner and it is holding its position on the top of the Motorola line. Don’t wonder what Motorola will come up with next, just look forward to their next RAZR offering.
