Quorum Land Suite 5.0 was re-built using the Microsoft .NET development platform.
.NET is Microsoft's strategic initiative for server and desktop development for the next decade. It includes many technologies that are designed to facilitate rapid development of internet and intranet applications that simplify collaboration and communication between disparate systems and programming languages. The .NET platform includes technologies that improve system flexibility, increase system scalability, and reduce the vulnerability of applications and computers to security threats.

Quorum expects all of its U.S.-based Quorum Land Suite clients to operate live on .NET platform by middle of 2008.
