These programs employ the current curricula as prescribed by the Board of Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians as well as the California Department of Public Health, respectively. The Vocational Nursing Program (LVN or LPN) utilizes the plan that nursing courses progress along the continuum of simple to complex, normal to abnormal. The organizing principle is homeostasis as it relates to the study of representative client problems by addressing the various anatomical systems and specialty areas in nursing

The Phlebotomy Technician program is designed for people who plan to work for a clinical laboratory, public health department, private clinic or hospital. The course combines 40-hours classroom instruction with a 40-hours off-site clinical internship to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience. Lectures include but are not limited to Anatomy and Medical Terminology pertaining to the circulatory system, specimen collection, risk factors, complications and quality assurance in specimen collection.

GAMA is a private healthcare college and students are carefully selected based on their abilities to excel in the desired field and their strong desire to work in environment centered on patient-care.
