Mobile Imaging Development, LLC, a healthcare management company, today announces that its limited partnership, Mobile Diagnostic Centers, has appointed Dr. John Nichols as medical director.
Mobile Diagnostic Centers, L.P., a mobile medical imaging services provider, is very happy to appoint Dr. Nichols to oversee the development of all current and future mobile imaging centers. “Dr. Nichols’ medical background as a leader in radiology is an invaluable asset to the partnership and will help to assure that the highest level of professional services is delivered to all Mobile Diagnostic Centers patients,” said Michael Blumenthal, the General Partner of Mobile Diagnostic Centers and the President and CEO of Mobile Imaging Development, LLC.
Dr. John Nichols is a recognized expert in radiology with over 25 years of experience. Dr. Nichols was trained in Radiology at Columbia University and Cornell University in New York, he is board certified as a diplomat with the American Board of Radiology and the National Board of Examiners. “Dr. Nichols' reputation and experience in Radiology, research and radiological applications ensures that Mobile Diagnostic Centers’ mobile imaging centers will be leaders in the industry,” said Blumenthal.
Dr. Nichols added, “PET/CT has many oncologic, neurologic, and cardiologic applications. In layman's terms, cancer and tumor, Alzheimer's disease, and coronary artery disease are some of the many third party reimbursable indications for imaging. Unfortunately, many hospitals are not willing to invest capital needed to make PET/CT services available to their patients.”
