The Vermont White Spruce artificial Christmas trees from the Vermont Signature ™ collection and Manhattan Flatback half-size artificial Christmas trees from the Balsam Hill ™ collection, both by luxury artificial Christmas tree retailer Balsam Hill ™, were highlighted on morning news program The Today Show. The segment, titled "Countdown to Christmas: How to Find the Right Tree" was led by The Today Show lifestyle editor Elizabeth Mayhew, and focused on selecting the right tree to match your personality and lifestyle.
The segment showcased The Vermont White Spruce tree first. Host Ann Curry expressed disbelief when she learned that the Vermont White Spruce was artificial.
