LinkConnector Triples Its Market Share Among Internet's Top 500 Retailers
Publish Date : 1/23/2008 6:23:00 AM Source : Advertising and Business News Onlypunjab.com
LinkConnector (http://www.linkconnector.com/), a leading Affiliate Marketing Network with progressive solutions for merchants and affiliates, announced this week that it has tripled its market share reach among the Internet's top 500 e-retailers, according to the Internet Retailer's 2007 Edition of the Top 500 Guide. This Guide is a widely recognized, comprehensive analysis of America's 500 largest e-retail businesses, a status determined by their annual online sales. Since the list was published last year, top Internet retailer names from this list, such as American Greetings and Paper.com, have selected LinkConnector as their Affiliate Marketing Network.
LinkConnector kicked off 2008 with nine merchants from the Internet Retailer's Top 500 Guide, tripling its market share reach, and closing the gap between itself and other large networks, such as Commission Junction. LinkConnector has redefined for many merchants and affiliates what it is they want from an affiliate marketing network. Many merchants from the Top 500 Guide selected LinkConnector for its exclusive technologies, not found in other networks, and for its notable list of high quality affiliates.
"Many top Internet retailers took notice of LinkConnector in 2007, seeking new and better solutions in affiliate marketing," said Choots Humphries, LinkConnector Co-President. "Internet Retailer's independent survey affirms that we are rapidly capturing market share. We believe this is due in part to our exclusive technologies and unique approaches, differentiating us from the crowd. We expect to again grow by more than 100 percent in 2008, providing affiliate marketing solutions to a growing number of merchants from the Top 500 List."
As a group, the Top 500 e-retail businesses accounted for a total of $83.6 billion of the nation's $136.2 billion of retail web, according to the 2007 Edition of the Top 500 Guide. While there are tens of thousands of retail web sites operating in the United States, the Top 500 e-retailers in 2006 accounted for 61% of all online sales. The list of current LinkConnector Merchants found on last year's Internet Retailer Top 500 list include: American Greetings, ToolBarn.com, Databazaar, Paper.com, Bidz, American Muscle, Biblio, and International Software Solutions.
