Morgan Heritage and Busy Signal Collaborate on Juke Boxx Release -- Run Dem
Publish Date : 1/5/2008 3:54:00 AM   Source : Culture and Community News

The first ever collaboration between Morgan Heritage, the royal family of Reggae, and dancehall Star Busy Signal is captured on a Juke Boxx Productions release. Run Dem is as provocative as it is melodic and is available in stores worldwide through All Access Distribution.

The potent combination of dancehall lyricist Busy Signal and cultural commentator Morgan Heritage is richly captured on the latest release from Juke Boxx Productions, Run Dem Weh.

The warm, emotional vocals of Peter Morgan paint the picture of present day society in musical notes; he criticizes of the depravity and violence that plagues the world. "How can you expect the population to sit back, kick back and just relax? Bun dat!" declares Peter as he pleads for each man to take responsible action.

Deejay Busy Signal compliments the track with his own observations. His deejay style gets increasingly aggressive as the impact of his lyrics unfold. "Youths want food to fill up them pot. You treat them bad. So why you think they won't react," Busy Signal warns the listener, reinforcing Peter's views. The deejay continues his delivery to say, "Now is the time for love not hate. It's not time to separate. The youths fi unite and live great."

The poignant lyrics are expertly delivered over a roots reggae rhythm that wraps around and intertwines with the vocals. Producer Shane C Brown guides the rich live instrumentation which flows effortlessly, setting the contemplative tone for the track.

Run Dem Weh is the first collaboration of these two socially relevant acts, Busy Signal and Morgan Heritage. Juke Boxx Productions had teased audiences with the landmark track via an internet only review on MySpace. The single is now available worldwide having been released commercially and at radio and is available through All Access Distribution on 7 inch.

Other new releases from Juke Boxx Productions includes Who Them by Chuck Fenda. The very personal track recounts the traumatic physical attack and kidnapping attempt Chuck Fenda experienced while touring. Despite being injured, he refuses to be vengeful, preferring to leave their judgment to Jah and encourages others to do the same. Who Them is also available on 7 inch from All Access.

The upcoming release schedule for Juke Boxx Productions includes the Oscillator rhythm project featuring Elephant Man, Morgan Heritage, Chuck Fenda, Voice Mail and new sensation Demarco. Visit www.MySpace.com/JukeBoxxProductions for release dates and exclusive sneak previews.
