InventHelp® Client Invents "Sit-X Abs" -- an Abdominal Work-Out Invention While User Sits in Chair
Publish Date : 12/28/2007 4:48:00 AM Source : Entertainment News Onlypunjab.com
InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, has designed abdominal exercise equipment that could be used while an individual sits in a chair. This invention is patented.
The "Sit-X Abs" could be designed for use while an individual sits in a chair and watches TV, reads a book, etc. The unit could allow the user to burn calories, tone and strengthen abdominal muscles and relieve stress. The equipment could reduce the need to go to a gym to exercise ones abdominal area. The invention could also be used while sitting at work.
The Sit-X Abs would incorporate a hinged metal or plastic frame that could fold in half. Each side would measure approximately eight inches long by 14 inches wide. The frame would be contoured and padded for comfort. The resistance would be provided by a pair of springs, which would be located between the sides of the frame. Each spring would be encased in plastic so that it would not pinch the user. The springs would be interchangeable and sets of springs with different resistance levels could be included with the equipment. A hinged area would include a belt that would attach to the user's belt. This would hold the unit in place during use. To use, an individual sits down and places the device on their lap so that it folds closed when the user leans forward.
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. |
