Under his leadership, the consulting organization will focus on serving senior-level executives and introducing new advisory services while continuing to provide tangible, practical and actionable deliverables. The new services Lerner will spearhead include CIO advisory services such as IT Blueprinting along with Outsourcing Strategies and Controls, and additional “hands on” services such as process and platform re-engineering, architectural diagnostics and technology rationalization.

Previously, Lerner was with Cognizant as a leader in their consulting practice. At Cognizant, he developed the Portfolio Analysis methodology, co-founded the Advanced Solutions Group which provides complex architecture and systems integration services, and introduced management consulting practices to the company. Prior to Cognizant, he was the director of eBusiness in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Management Consulting Services.

Lerner has been a strategic advisor to the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, regularly participates as a guest speaker and panelist at Gartner conferences and is often quoted in the press as an IT outsourcing authority.
